The Arkansas Small Business Development Center’s individualized management consulting services emphasize educating clients and finding practical solutions to enhance business growth or solve problems.  Our confidential consulting services are provided at no charge on a variety of business issues including:

New business owners are strongly encouraged to attend the Arkansas SBDC seminar, “Starting a Business in Arkansas” before meeting with a consultant. Additionally, we encourage that a draft business plan be made available to our business consultants prior to the first meeting.  This process allows our SBDC consultants to determine the areas in which we can have the most impact and develop a plan maximizing the time we will spend with a client.  For current business owners, financial statements and other documents are usually requested during the course of the consulting services.
